Dominio de Anza Selección de Parcelas is a red wine from the D.O. Bierzo produced by Dominio de Anza, the personal project of Diego Magaña, made from 100% Mencía from old vineyards approximately 80 years old located in Valtuille de Abajo and Otero. Each parcel is vinified separately to preserve its identity, and subsequently, the wine undergoes 12 months of aging in large wooden vats and 500-liter oak barrels, adding complexity without overshadowing the fruit. On the nose, red and black fruit aromas stand out, along with floral notes, pink pepper, and delicate balsamic hints. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and elegant, with fine tannins, excellent acidity, and a long finish that precisely expresses the character and minerality of Bierzo.
