Ontañón is a family winery with several generations behind the viticulture and production of quality wines. Located in the capital of the Rioja community, they produce both traditional-style wines and others in line with new market trends, all adhering to the highest quality standards in all their brands. Ontañón Lagarnacha is a tribute to the generations that traditionally made Rioja Garnachas in the eastern part of the region. In the municipality of Quel, this variety was perfectly adapted in the past and now expresses itself with aromatic richness and aging potential. Smooth and controlled fermentations to extract sweet tannins with a good level of acidity, followed by mixed aging in American oak (70%) and French oak (30%).
