Ontañón is a family winery with several generations behind the viticulture and production of quality wines. Located in the capital of the Rioja community, they produce both traditional-style wines and others in line with new market trends, all adhering to the highest quality standards in all their brands. Rippa Dorii Roble is a red wine made by the Ontañón family within the DO Ribera del Duero. It is a single-varietal Tempranillo from their own vineyards in Fuentecén, which macerates for three days prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After completing malolactic fermentation, it is placed in new French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrels of various toasting levels for 6/7 months.
