Alta Alella is located right in the heart of the Serralada de Marina Natural Park, in the Catalan region of Maresme. Nestled on a Mediterranean balcony and just a short distance from Barcelona, you’ll find the noucentista estate of Can Genís, a dream brought to life by the Pujol-Busquets Guillén family. Deeply rooted in viticulture, Josep Maria and Cristina have fully dedicated themselves to wine and sparkling wines. Today, they have achieved a generational transition with their two daughters, Mireia and Georgina. All their productions are marketed with organic farming certification, creating an ecosystem in harmony with the native flora and fauna. El Cau d’En Genís is a single-varietal white wine made from Pansa Blanca (synonym and variant of Xarel·lo from Penedès, adapted to the vineyards of Alella), which ferments and later ages for 6 months on its fine lees in cement eggs made from Beaune clay (Burgundy). The vineyards are planted on “sauló”, decomposed granite and sandy soil, with organic certification for the entire production.

The Cau d’en Genís Blanc 2022 is a white wine that reflects the essence of the Mediterranean and the exceptional quality of Alta Alella winery. Made from the Pansa Blanca variety, also known as Xarel·lo, this wine is an authentic expression of the D.O. Alella terroir, where organic viticulture and respect for the environment are fundamental. The Cau d’en Genís Blanc 2022 captures the freshness and minerality characteristic of the coastal region, offering a unique experience for lovers of high-quality white wine.

This wine is made from vineyards grown in sauló soils, typical of the area, which give it a unique minerality and complexity. The Cau d’en Genís Blanc 2022 is a fresh, balanced wine full of nuances that captivates from the first sip.

Visually, this white wine presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections, indicating its freshness and vibrancy.
