Dulban is part of the extensive portfolio offered by the Castelo de Pedregosa winery, in Sant Sadurní, within the Penedès Denomination of Origin. In this case, it is a red wine with a light aging in barrels, made with a blend of Ull de llebre (Catalan Tempranillo), Cariñena, and Garnacha tinta. The three varieties ferment separately, and then the “coupage” is done before entering French oak barrels for about 4 months and 2 more months in American oak. Afterwards, it is further refined in the bottle for a few more months before being released to the market.
