Els Escurçons is a red wine from the D.O. Priorat produced by Mas Martinet Viticultors from 100% Garnacha sourced from a vineyard located at 600 meters altitude, on ferruginous slate soils. Designed as a tribute to Priorat before phylloxera, it ferments in clay vessels and ages for 12 months in clay amphorae and demijohns, preserving the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. On the nose, it offers aromas of fresh red fruit, floral notes, and Mediterranean herbs with an elegant mineral background. On the palate, it is fine, fresh, and silky, with delicate tannins and a long finish that showcases the most elegant, light, and refined facet of Priorat.
