Ontañón is a family winery with several generations behind the viticulture and production of quality wines. Located in the capital of the Rioja community, they produce both traditional-style wines and others in line with new market trends, all adhering to the highest quality standards in all their brands. Ontañón Crianza is made by blending Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta from old vines in the Rioja Oriental region, fermenting separately in stainless steel tanks. It then ages in oak barrels, combining American (60%) and French (40%) origin, for about 12 months, followed by another year of refinement in the bottle before being released to the market.
