Rippa Dorii Salomón 2022

Ontañón is a family winery with several generations behind the viticulture and production of quality wines. Located in the capital of the Rioja community, they produce both traditional-style wines and others in line with new market trends, all adhering to the highest quality standards in all their brands. Rippa Dorii Roble is a red wine made by the Ontañón family within the DO Ribera del Duero. It is a single-varietal Tempranillo from their own vineyards in Fuentecén, but from a single vineyard planted in a bush vine system of less than 4 hectares, which gives the wine its name. The manual harvest is done at night and during fermentation, gentle daily pressings are carried out. The malolactic fermentation takes place in new oak barrels (Quercus Pyrenaica), followed by aging for 11 to 12 months in the same barrel.
