During the year 2002, Javier Álvarez began to realize his dream of creating a winery within the DO Bierzo, following certain requirements: maximum enjoyment, representing the León region, and serving to share and promote his passion for wine. Together with two partners, they created Almázcara Majara (Ma-nuel+Ja-vier+Ra-ul). The Bierzo region is located in the northwest of the province of León. With a Mediterranean micro-climate, it enjoys milder temperatures. Aphrodisíaque Rosé is made with Mencía grapes and a portion of the white Godello, from vineyards above 500m in altitude.
Description
Pale pink On the nose the aromas of white flowers stand out. On the palate it is oily, sweet, fresh and with balanced acidity.
