Kaori Tempranillo is a red wine made by Bodegas Ontañón within their “Versos Sueltos” collection, which seeks to reinterpret the 100% Tempranillo variety with a modern and elegant style. Coming from the DO Ca Rioja, it is made from selected grapes harvested at their optimum ripeness to ensure balance and varietal expression. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by aging for 12 to 15 months in American oak barrels, which adds complexity, structure, and spicy notes without losing the fruit. The result is a red wine with good aromatic intensity, notes of ripe red fruit, toasty and spicy nuances, and a balanced, round, and persistent mouthfeel.
