Sericis Bobal is a red wine made from 100% Bobal, from the DO Utiel-Requena, an area with a continental climate influenced by the Mediterranean, characterized by great thermal contrasts between day and night and limestone-clay soils. The wine is made exclusively from selected grapes from low-yield old vines, which allows for greater concentration and quality. The vinification begins with destemming and gentle crushing of the grapes, followed by a long maceration at controlled temperature with gentle pump-overs to favor the extraction of color and structure. It then undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barrels for a minimum of 8 months. The result is an intense and expressive wine, with aromas of ripe black fruit, spicy and toasted notes, and a powerful, balanced mouthfeel with round, persistent tannins.
