Bodega Tobelos is located in Briñas -near Haro-, one of the areas with the richest winemaking tradition in Rioja. It belongs to Rioja Alta and is influenced, on one side, by the Sierra Cantabria and, on the other, by the long course of the Ebro River. The project began in the last decade of the 20th century and has been growing year by year in quality and diversity of labels. Harvesting is mostly done manually, as the vineyards surround the winery, allowing for very thorough maturity control, with each of the different plots vinified separately in a fragmented manner before deciding on the wines to be produced based on the harvest evolution. Tobelos Rosado is made with a high percentage of Viura, a white variety, along with a small portion (25%) of Tempranillo, which adds color and tannins. It complements its structure with fermentation in mixed barrels of 225 and 300 liters.
