Doix is a red wine from the D.O. Priorat produced by Mas Doix from a blend of Cariñena and Garnacha sourced from old vines between 80 and over 100 years old, cultivated on the llicorella slopes of Poboleda. After a manual harvest and a rigorous selection of the grapes, each plot ferments separately with native yeasts and the wine undergoes 16 months of aging in new French oak barrels with extra-fine grain, preserving the full personality of the terroir. On the nose, black and ripe red fruit aromas, spices, thyme, graphite, and delicate notes of cedar and tobacco stand out. On the palate, it is deep, elegant, and mineral, with silky tannins, excellent balance, and a long, persistent finish that precisely expresses the character of the great wines of Priorat.
