Ontañón is a family winery with several generations behind the viticulture and production of quality wines. Located in the capital of the Rioja community, they produce both traditional-style wines and others in line with new market trends, all adhering to the highest quality standards in all their brands. Ontañón Natura is the winery’s commitment to producing a wine without added sulfites at any stage of grape production or during winemaking and bottling. Made as a single-varietal Tempranillo from three plots in the Sierra de Yerga (Rioja Oriental), the must ferments in stainless steel, is cleaned and clarified with plant-based products before aging in French oak barrels for about 15 months, and finishes its refinement in the bottle.
