Valdecuriel Reserva is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made by Bodegas Valdecuriel from 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) sourced from a vineyard located in Curiel de Duero, on clay-loam soils with limestone influence. After a manual harvest and a 48-hour prefermentative maceration, the wine ferments at controlled temperature and undergoes 24 months of aging in new French and American oak barrels, followed by 18 months of fine-tuning in bottle before commercialization. On the nose, it stands out for its great intensity and complexity, with aromas of red and black fruits, jam, spices, chocolate, licorice, and delicate notes of violet. On the palate, it is broad, structured, and elegant, with powerful and well-integrated tannins, great balance, and a long and persistent finish that showcases its aging potential.
