Quintaluna is a white wine from VT Castilla y León produced by Ossian Vides y Vinos from 100% Verdejo sourced from old pre-phylloxera vineyards and massal selections from Nieva (Segovia). After a manual harvest and fermentation with native yeasts, the wine undergoes nine months of aging on its lees, primarily in stainless steel tanks, complemented by a portion aged in fudres and oak barrels to add greater complexity and texture. The nose features aromas of ripe stone fruit, white flowers, dried herbs, and delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh, vibrant, and unctuous, with balanced acidity, great volume, and a long finish that authentically expresses the character of Segovian Verdejo and its historic sandy soils.
