Dehesa San Andrés Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine from the D.O. Toro produced by Palacio de Villachica made from 100% Tinta de Toro sourced from selected plots of vineyards over 50 years old, some of which are pre-phylloxera. After a manual harvest and a double selection of the grapes, the wine undergoes cold pre-fermentative maceration, ferments in stainless steel tanks, and after malolactic fermentation, ages in new French and Central European oak barrels. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry, currant, and blackberry stand out, accompanied by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and chocolate. On the palate, it is broad, enveloping, and elegant, with present tannins, great structure, and a long finish that reflects the character and personality of the Tinta de Toro.
